Is the future parched, or will we drown?

In this must-watch video, New Zealand Climate Scientist Professor James Renwick CRSNZ explains why the oceans are so critical to understanding how climate change is affecting the globe and how we have the power to reduce carbon emissions and reverse temperature rises.

Professor Renwick has studied the climate system for over 30 years and knows just how big a threat climate change is to humanity.  But there is hope.  As with the entire world right now, climate change is affecting the Wairarapa and New Zealand, but what the future might have in store depends on how quickly we act to reduce our emissions of greenhouse gases and use more renewable sources of energy. Education, he says, is key to knowing the problem. We all have the power to act.
